Bosco came to the Cat Connection from a high-kill pound. He is a very affectionate and loving cat. He recently required emergency surgery and required a blood transfusion. Throughout this he has been a fighter, not giving up when his future looked very dim. He has remained very sweet while enduring multiple medical procedures. His survival has come at a very high price. His medical bills are currently at $1200 and he continues to need medical care, so this figure will rise. We need donations to help pay for his extensive care and they will be greatly appreciated. You can use the Paypal link below to easily make a tax-deductible donation.
UPDATE! Bosco is home and recovering rapidly. We are very grateful to Dr. Witt and the staff of Hartrick Veterinary Clinic for saving Bosco's life by performing emergency surgery on him and taking excellent care of him after. In addition, big thanks are also due to Wilson Veterinary Hospital's staff for performing the transfusion and monitoring after.
The Cat Connection desperately needs donations! Please see how to help our cats further down this page.
Cat of the Month
Olivia is a DSH orange tabby spayed female, 1 1/2 years old. She is a very sweet natured cat and likes to have attention and be held. She is active and playful. She gets along with some other cats but would be fine as an only cat as long as she gets attention regularly. She has beautiful pale green eyes.
If you can't adopt, but would like to help Olivia, please make a donation via our Paypal link below. We are a 501(c) charity so your donation is tax-deductible!

are in desperate
need of donations
to pay for veterinary care,
food and litter. Donations have been very low this year.
To our valued and generous donors: We have had a PayPal problem that caused any donations sent in Oct., Nov., and Dec. to be declined. We only became aware of the problem the first of January. We sincerely apologize to anyone who received a message that the money was “unclaimed.” We value your support and it is what makes the whole rescue work. Without these donations we could not afford to continue.
Our organization, and all of the really appreciate your kindness!
Sponsors needed: please consider donating $40 to spay/neuter a cat for low-income owners.
